Gold Assay's are a tricky business as you may know in the mining industry today. It takes many fire assay's to figure out which formula will work with your type of ore and in most cases fire assay's will not recover the ionic gold that is present in your gold ore, and it gets volatilized and goes up in smoke in the furnace. Then the assay company you hired tells you "their is no gold in your sample", when you know the gold is their !!!
Iodine Leach Assay
I have found Iodine will recover Gold that other assay company's cant find in their standard fire assay's.
